Create Employee Position, Manager & Department



Employee Position, Manager & Department



To create a position against an existing Job Go to Human Resources module> Common > Organization > Positions >Positions> Click New Position button.





1. Enter the complete description of Position in Position field.
2. Select the relevant Job against which user is creating position in Job fast tab section.
3. Select the relevant Department for the position in Department field.
4. Select the relevant manager of position in Report to Position field.
5. Select the title of the position in the title field.
6. Select the date from which position will be available for assignment.
7. Go to Payroll Fast tab.
8. Define the Pay cycle (Monthly) associated with this position.
9. Enter “1920” in annual regular hours field.
10. Mark the “Generate Salary” check box.
11. Select the default earning code i.e. Basic Salary code.
12. Save & close the form.
